Central Park South

Goal: To update the 21,000 sf ground floor of an office building in order to attract new major tenants including extensive renovation of lobby and other common area space.

Means: Integrate a stunning barrel vaulted ceiling into a formerly undersized, conservative lobby incorporating high end flooring, wood trim, designer lighting and sophisticated elevator cab to create a memorable entrance to the facility.

Challenge: The building housed a major tenant on the upper floors that needed to be accommodated during the entire effort.

Solution: Public areas were kept free of construction debris, cleaned continuously and alternate routes provided during the most active phases of construction. In fact, on a surprise visit from OSHA, Accent Construction received a written commendation for the manner in which the project was maintained and for their commitment to health and safety.
